TY Fashion Show

On Friday Night, 13th May the Transition Year Annual Fashion Show took place.  It was a wonderful success with the students stepping out with great confidence!  They are very grateful to Ms. Claire Bradfield (Co-ordinator) and Ms. Johanna Sheehan for their support.  In the weeks leading up to the show Ms. Karen Morrissey gave lessons in beauty and make-up and Ms. Joan Brennan helped with dress design.  On the night many of the Staff helped out backstage. A great highlight was the bridal wear (with the girls rivalling Kate Middleton!) and the dress design section where they modelled their own creations.

FIRST YEARS AT KILFINANE ACTIVITY CENTRE

First Year students enjoyed a weekend in Kilfinane Activity Centre, Limerick, 10 -12th March.  Under the supervision of Ms. Philomena Flynn, Ms. Kathy Morrissey and the Centre’s instructors they took part in many team activities including rock climbing, orienteering and canoeing.  It is a tradition in the school to take First Years away together and offers them the chance to strengthen the bonds of friendship that they have been building up since September.
